Embark on a gulet in Turkiye

Turkiye is the chosen destination for the holiday on board the beautiful wooden gulets based in Bodrum, Marmaris and Fethiye. Consequently, from here you can choose sailing routes with the guarantee of excellent weather from the end of April to November. A wide choice of gulets always place Turkiye in first place as an ideal destination for a gulet holiday.

Choose the shared gulet or a private gulet

Turkey offers a wide choice of gulets. The ideal solution is the private gulet charter; that means an exclusive holiday  for your group only. Its good to know that a private gulet charter does not necessarily have to be a super expensive holiday. In fact, in Turkey we can offer gulets suitable for all budgets . But, if you are a couple or a small group of friends the shared gulet charter can be a good opportunity to discover the world of gulet in Turkey.

Cabin charter gulet from Bodrum

Bodrum is definitely the main destination where to start your gulet holiday. In fact, the famous Gokova Bay or blue route is located here. This classic cruise is offering an exceptional climate. Being completely sheltered from the wind and rough seas it is ideal for sailing in the low season. Among the Orak islands with the crystal clear sea, the historical ruins of Cleopatra’s island. Not forgetting the wild nature of the English port and the 7 islands. You will spend a holiday totally dedicated to the sea and relaxation.

Private gulet holiday in Turkiye

Bodrum is known not only as a destination for worldly tourism, but also as a base for the most beautiful gulets in Turkiye. Among the traditional shipyards, top quality materials and international know-how, everyone can find the ideal gulet. In fact in Bodrum you can rent both a standard gulet with local crew at affordable prices. Or choose your boat among luxury and extra luxury gulets equipped with all comforts and 5* service.

From Bodrum you can sail different routes; among them the bay of Gokova, but also the coast of the Aegean called Hisaronu. The Bay of Hisaronu is positioned towards the island of Symi and offers completely different landscapes compared to its “sister Gokova”. Itinerary that includes Knidos and Datca is a perfect holiday of quiet navigation with the possibility of also visiting places of interest.

Cabin gulet from Marmaris

Marmaris is positioned between the mountains and the sea in a beautiful setting towards the Aegean. Unlike Bodrum it is a greener area, with low hills and less tourism. From here we depart our cabin gulet cruise to Gocek with its islands and Fethiye. The 12 islands of Gocek are uninhabited and form an archipelago between Fethiye and the small port of Gocek.

Exclusive gulet charter from Marmaris

Marmaris competes very well with Bodrum when it comes to the choice of gulets, although Bodrum is always one step ahead. For this reason, perhaps the value for money is better for gulets built in the Marmaris shipyards. Between its large waterfront port and the nearby Marina we can offer gulets of every category  with excellent service on board.

By chartering a gulet from Marmaris you can sail towards the uninhabited Gocek islands or towards Selimiye and Orhaniye in Hisaronu. Which is the most beautiful route? Towards Hisaronu you can visit villages Bozburun, Selimiye, Orhanite and Datca.  But you will also have a choice of several sheltered moorings where you can enjoy days at sea. While towards Fethiye there are the Gocek islands that have their charm because they are uninhabited.

Turkiye by gulet towards Kekova and Kas

The bay of Kekova is much smaller as a sailing area compared to the others. However, it has a charm of its own both for the ruins of Simena as well as for the beautiful Kas. Located in the south of Turkey, it offers an ideal climate for cruises in the low season. In fact, you can sail from April to November as in Gokova. Unfortunately, since the navigation area is not so large, the bays of main interest can be very popular with both gulets and other types of boats.

For those who choose a gulet holiday in Turkey, undoubtedly the bay of Kekova is if not the first, the second choice. However, this part of Turkiye is not yet so developed in terms of yachting. Therefore the choice of boats is not very wide and above all the quality is not comparable to the boats from Bodrum or Marmaris. Here the protagonist is above all the beautiful sea, the tradition and Turkish hospitality of the past.
