Island of Rhodes destination guide

The Island of Rhodes is an essential and exciting island for nautical tourism.  For the reason that has over 2600 years of history, breathtaking natural beauty and a great variety of landscapes.  Not to forget, some of the most beautiful crystal clear beaches in Greece. South of the marina are located most of the beaches.  This bays are quite far for a short swimming breaks. Consequently, if you visit the island of Rhodes for one day only is impossible to cruise also the bays. Usually, all gulets are entering the new marina where they stay all day, and the clients are free to discover the island on their own. If you prefer to include in your gulet cruise more swimming from the boat then sightseeing maybe you should avoid Rhodes on your gulet cruise and visit the island as the separate holiday.

Things to visit  in one day on the island of Rhodes:

• Rhodes old town city with its narrow streets is perfect for sightseeing and shopping. You can also have swimming on the famous Eli beach. This can be a good plan if you do not want to go too far from the marina or you have limited time.  The Old Town’s designation as a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
• Lindos village located at the south of the island is also a gem. Lindos is known for its historic small houses, whitewashed and sit beautifully on the hillside making it one of the most beautiful places on the island. Here you can climb up to the ruins of Acropolis. But also have a break on beautiful beaches and capturing incredible panoramic photos of this historic town.
•  Butterflies valley and 7 spings is a nice half-day excursion in Rhodes inland.  Butterflies valley, is known as a summer residence in Rhodes for millions of butterflies during the summer months from June to September.
