Bodrum cup 2015 wooden yacht regatta
The Bodrum Cup is an event for classic sailing yachts taking part every October in Bodrum. The primary goal of the regatta was to promote interest and skill in sailing of the crew that is in charter business.
The first day will bring the boats from Bodrum to Gumulsuk, a in Bodrum peninsula. For the second day we are expecting the boats coming to the island of Leros. On October 23, will return to Turkey, in the beautiful Yalikavak, with finish in Bodrum, where there will be the award ceremony.
Boats, almost all made of wood , are a valuable record of yachting history of the twentieth century. The boats participating to the race are devided in : gulets xl, classic gulet, triandil, cruiser and catamaran. Among the accessions are M / s, Merlin (6. The 27 edition of The Bodrum Cup Sailing Race will be held together with “Instabodrumcup” photo contest and “Blue Voyage Kitchen” cooking contest activity for professional gulets chefs.
